JASON AMAZING - THE ANIMALS

I loved doing this project for my dear friend Jason Wexler. Jason is a brilliant keyboardist and musician also based in New York, and we've been on several tours together—so when he approached me to do the artwork for an album of lullabies and other animal-related songs for his then one-year-old son Charlie, I really wanted to do it right. I had a vision of a big New York block party featuring all the animals in the songs (there's one song per animal pictured)—and at the last minute added Jason, his wife Amanda, and little Charlie in there too for good measure. Proud to be a small part of Charlie's childhood, and to have created something that will remind him how much his dad loves him!
